The signal enhancement system consists of three
major components;
Donor antenna - This communicates with the cellular
operators base station site, and has a narrow beam and high gain, enabling
the system to work with weak signals and eliminate interference.
|
Indoor Antenna – This communicates with user’s
mobile phones in the coverage area; it is designed to offer maximum signal
coverage all around the antenna for in-building coverage. |
Repeater Amplifier – This amplifies
signals received from the operators base site (from the donor antenna)
and broadcasts them through the indoor antenna to the coverage area;
it also amplifies the signals received from the indoor antenna and broadcasts
them back to the operators base site through the donor antenna. |
